Looking for Part Time Recreation Attendants

Salary: $10.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Provides excellent customer service to all guests and staff

• Greet and assist patrons of the facilities

• Collect admissions fees, concession sale funds and issue correct change

• Take concession orders

• Stock and restock supplies daily

• Attendant will be trained to operate the carousel, turn on music, and give a brief narration of the carousel's history

• Assist riders on and off carousel

• Ensure carousel riders follow all rules and procedures

• Ensure that all age and weight requirements are followed

• Accurately report rider counts

• Report all maintenance needs to the Aquatic Superintendent

• General cleaning duties, including the carousel facility

• Help out in emergency situations at the facilities

• Attend staff meetings scheduled by the Aquatic Superintendent

Qualifications: Basic computer skills, food and cash handling experience preferred. Must be able to verbally communicate effectively with both the public and staff. Must be able to multi-task. Individuals must be very people-oriented and good with children.

Physical Demands: May be required to stand for long periods of time. Lift and move up to 50 pounds (assistance as needed).

Shifts Available: Varied shifts; including holidays, weekends, and evenings. Must be able to work weekend hours.

Minimum Age: 15 years old – must be 16 years old to operate the carousel
